This marine resource website gathers together news, photos and videos of interest to people involved in (or hoping to get  involved in) all types of sailing and boating in Ireland plus a host of marine related activities.

We're blogging on the very latest Irish Sailing news plus yacht and sailing clubs, dinghy and one design classes and regatta and championship reports. We're also covering Irish water sports; Rowing, Angling, Power Boating, Inland Waterways, Canoeing, Kitesurfing, Surfing, Diving, Open Sea Swimming and Jet Skiing.

Afloat.ie also has a dedicated section on Irish Ports and Shipping news dealing with Cruise liner arrivals, Shipping, ferries and cargo. This section also has a comprehensive listing of the necklace of Irish marina locations around the coast, including the very latest at Greystones in County Wicklow.
