Inland Waterways Notices: Belturbet & Scarriff

Inland Waterways have some notices for the following: Belturbet – Lady of the Erne Festival; and Shannon Navigation – Scarriff Harbour Festival. Please see over the fold.

Belturbet – Lady of the Erne Festival: There's canoe racing associated with the festival taking place in Belturbet from 27 July until 4 Aug. Masters and users are advised to proceed at slow speed and with due caution and to take note of advice from course marshals when passing through the course area.

Shannon Navigation – Scarriff Harbour Festival: Raft racing will take place in Scarriff on Sun 2 Aug from 12.00 hrs until 1500 hrs. Masters and users are advised to proceed at slow speed and with due caution and to take note of advice from course marshals when in the vicinity of the harbour. Tuamgraney Quay is available as an alternative mooring during the event.
