Speaking about the acquisition, Mr. Niall O’Gorman, General Manager Suzuki Ireland said, "Suzuki has an excellent reputation for producing reliable quality products at competitive prices. Four stroke engines are clearly the next big wave in marine power. Suzuki has developed a range of engines from 2.5hp up to 300hp combining the latest 4 stroke innovations with 35 years marine engine experience.
Suzuki Ireland has acquired Suzuki Marine distribution for the Republic of Ireland. Previously distributed by White Water Marine Ltd, Suzuki Ireland has now been appointed as Suzuki Marine distributors, with effect from 1st November 2008. Based at the headquarters for Suzuki Ireland in Tallaght, Dublin, the Suzuki Marines Sales Manager will be Mr. Sean Whiteman, previously with Whitewater Marine Ltd.
