Focus on customer care for marinas

Fáilte Ireland recently held a Customer Care Service Workshop for front of line staff members of the Irish Boat Rental Association and Irish Marina Operators Association. Poolbeg Marina were hosts for the day on Tuesday 9th December for the Irish Marina Operator’s Association Workshop, while the Irish Boat Rental Association met at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Athlone on Thursday 4th December. 

The workshop covered the role of communication, how to address barriers to effective communication and the skills needed to handle difficult complaints and situations. Follow up courses are planned for 2009.
