Johnston eyes good prospect on Dublin Bay

31st May 2009

A sparkling Dublin Bay greeted competitors for Dublin bay's Saturday race with south-east 12-14 knot winds and a flooding tide that produced the best conditions of the season so far. Chris Johnston's Propsect won the Beneteau 31.7  race from Donal O'Sullivan's Magic. On the dinghy and small keelboat course two four lap races were sailed in Seapoint bay by Flying fifteens, Mermaids, Squibs and Fireballs. Derek and Jean Jago sailing Why not won both the Squib races while John Lavery and David Gorman shared the Flying Fifteen wins in the 11–boat fleet.
