Kinsale Yacht Club has announced its Vice Commodore Anthony Scannell as the Regatta Director for the 2023 Sovereign’s Cup.
The regatta will take place from 21st to 24th June 2023.
"The club is very much looking forward to returning to the pre-covid number of entrants," according to KYC Commodore Matthias Hellstern.
The 2023 event will be the 15th edition of the biennial event.

Sovereign’s Cup 2017 Announces O’Leary Life & Pensions Sponsorship For Kinsale Yacht Club Event
Kinsale Yacht Club has announced O’Leary Life & Pensions as headline sponsors of its 2017 Sovereign’s Cup regatta.
June's biennial event has a good number of spinnaker and white sail cruisers entered as well as 1720 sportsboats, a class that is holding its European Championships during the event from June 21–24.
