#Acky - The Irish Times reports on tributes to Galway-based chandler Steve Ackland, who lost his life on Thursday 30 July.
The Galway Maritime Ltd director, originally from Hamble in Southampton and affectionately known as 'Acky', died in hospital after falling overboard from a yacht in Galway Docks on Thursday evening.
The funeral service will be held at St Patrick's Church, Dalkey at 11.00 on Wednesday 5th August, followed by cremation. Full details are here
