Dun Laoghaire’s Urban Beach development ‘on hold’
Envisaged as Dun Laoghaire Harbour’s answer to the popular Berlin Badeschiff, pictured above, it has now emerged that the €2.75million Urban Beach and Pool is “currently on hold”. Read about the latest delay in a renewal development that was originally slated to be up and running 30 months ago here.
Meanwhile, as Dun Laoghaire Marina advertises availability on berths, Milford Marina in south Wales has been voted among the top five marinas in the UK, gardai raid fishing ports in search for undocumented workers, Minister pledges to plug discharge of 35,000 wheelie bins’ worth of raw sewage into Cork Harbour every day, and Sligo’s Coast Guard helicopter medievacs an injured tanker crewman 350km off the west coast.
