The Irish Cruiser Racing Association has launched two new initiatives aimed at getting more people sailing, and promoting and developing handicap racing.

CREW POINT: ICRA is offering a new website to promote sailing events and for new and/or experienced sailors to engage with boat owners looking for crew. The aim is to promote events and drive potential new members towards clubs, while building a 'cruiser racing crew register'. The scheme is part of an effort to get more people sailing in partnership with 'Try Sailing'.

CRUISER RACING TRAINING GRANT: ICRA are offering grants of up to €1,000 to help clubs set–up and run ICRA approved training or coaching programmes aimed at improving the racing skills amongst cruiser racers.
