#laser – Royal Cork sailors were said to be 'shaken' after a collision involving a truck and their team van/boat trailer led to at least one badly damaged dinghy. Nobody was injured in the accident yesterday afternoon. The RCYC team were travelling to this weekend's Laser National Championships at the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire. Three other boats were also reported to be damaged in the incident. One boat has had its deck split and bow section removed. Plans are underway to find replacement boats for the Royal Cork sailors.
