Hopkins Fifth in Early Stages of Laser Radial Youth Europeans

#laserradialyouth – With no racing on day one due to fog, two races of the Laser Radial Youth Europeans were sailed late yesterday afternoon in light sunny conditions and Irish sailors were to the fore in both girls and boys fleets. Howth Yacht Club's Aoife Hopkins is fifth overall and Tim Brow seventh overall in the girls and boys fleet respectively.

Three races are planned today but there is currently 23kts blowing hard with a big swell at the Viana do Castelo in Portugal.
