Ireland Set Up Chance of a Medal

Laura D’Urso and Lisa Dilleen will compete in the A Final of the women’s double scull at the World Junior Championships in Brive in France. The Donegal-Galway combination comfortably secured qualification today by finishing second in their semi-finalto a runaway German crew, who won by over nine seconds. Italy took the third and final qualification spot. The Czech Republic, China and Romania came through the other semi-final.
