Shandon Eight Fastest Crew at Cork Head of the River

#Rowing: Shandon’s men’s senior eight were the fastest crew at the Cork Head of the River at the Marina on Saturday, coming home faster than two UCC senior eights. Andy Harrington of UCC, a senior, was the fastest single sculler, though at junior level Daire Lynch of Clonmel produced one of the performances of the day, coming home in 11 minutes 38.7 seconds. Cork Boat Club’s junior 18 eight were the fastest women’s crew.
