#Rowing: Trinity’s senior men’s eight were the top crew at the Erne Head of the River in Enniskillen today. The Dublin University crew covered the 4.52 miles in perfect conditions in 18 minutes 30 seconds. It was their third consecutive win in this event. They had three seconds to spare over Commercial. UCD, who hit a buoy, could only finish fifth. A record 85 crews completed the course.
The fastest women’s crew was the NUIG intermediate eight – quicker by seven seconds than the Commercial senior eight. The fastest women’s junior crew was the Enniskillen RBC eight.
