Big Laser Dinghy Turnout is a Boost for Dublin Bay Sailing Club

28th June 2011

18 Lasers filing out of Dublin Bay Sailing Club's dinghy start line was an uplifting sight for dinghy fans tonight.

Medium strength north west winds gave full hiking for all the dinghy classes racing a triangular course in Scotsmans Bay.

Neil Colin's  Elevation was first home in the Fireball class now back from Sligo. Licence to Thrill (Louis Smyth) was second.  3. Blind Squirrel (Frank Miller) was third.

Former Laser ace Evan Dolan was the winner of the biggest fleet of the night with N. O'Toole second and former Irish champion Chris Arrowsmith third.
