Volvo race headquarters confirmed this afternoon that the Limerick sailor Ger O'Rourke will sail the second Irish VOR boat under the Dutch flag and it will be the eighth entry into the round the world race.  
Team Delta Lloyd (ex ABN AMRO ONE) departed Cobh (14:20 Thursday.) Ger O'Rourke helmed her out past Roches point and into the Atlantic. The boat flew the RWYC of Ireland ensign.
