Ophelia - Updates on Dublin Port, Bay And Ferry Services
#OpheliaDublinPort - Met Eireann and the National Emergency Coordination Centre are advising everyone throughout the country to stay away from coastal paths, cliffs and harbours during the forecasted extreme weather event.
Dublin Bay
For safety reasons there will be no access to Dublin Port's Great South Wall from Monday morning at 0800 hrs until Tuesday morning at 1000 hrs.
Similarly, there will be restricted access to the Wooden Bridge at Dollymount, particularly 3 hours either side of high water times. The storm surge on Monday evening and Tuesday morning could result in the highest tides of the year.
All users of the Dublin Bay Area are advised to take every precaution avoid the coastline and unnecessary journeys.
For further updates consult the Dublin Port facebook page here. Please advise others of this safety information.

Irish Ferries (see website) have also cancelled all sailings, with the exception of the 8:55pm Dublin-Holyhead service, which is in doubt.
