Docklands Users Must Ensure the Right Access with the Dublin Port Pass
Dublin Port Company has issued a reminder to all port users who required access to the Common User Areas to ensure they have the right Dublin Port Pass.
The Common User Areas in Dublin Port are restricted access, with entry managed by Dublin Port Company and Doyle Shipping Group. The areas are:
- Alexandra Quay East, which has three operational berths (berths 38, 39 and 40)
- Ocean Pier (Alexandra Basin East), which has six operational multi-purpose berths (berths 32-37) and two operational RO-RO ramps
- Alexandra Quay West, which has four operational berths (berths 28-31) and one operational RO-RO ramp
- Two operational berths (berths 46-47) on the south side of the Port commonly referred to as Coal Quay
Port workers, visitors and contractors who require access to these areas must ensure they are aware of which entry point they should be using.
It is essential to apply to the correct company for an Access Control Card when completing the Dublin Port Pass. Dublin Port Company manages access at Nos 1 & 2 Branch Road South and the South Port Common User Area, while Doyle Shipping Group manages access at Nos 3 & 4 Branch Road South.
Details on how to apply, and on the Dublin Port Pass induction course, can be found on the Dublin Port Company website HERE.
