There has been an immediate response to Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta's call to white sail crews this week to join next month's regatta. 45 boats are now signed up for the four day event from July 9. Racing is being provided over a range of courses for the inaugural 'White Sail trophy', a new open championship Cup. Entry to the regatta is still open and the event chairman Phil Smith believes the White Sail feeet could top 60 boats.
