New draft bye-laws for Lakeshore areas

Westmeath County Council are proposing new bye-laws in all aspects of lakeshore use within it's functional area. A provision will be made for the imposition of a fixed payment of €75 in respect of a contravention of a bye-law as an alternative to a prosecution.

Copies of the drafts are available for viewing at the following locations:

– Main Customer Services Desk, County Buildings, Mullingar

– Kilbeggan Area Office, Civic Offices, The Square Kilbeggan

– Coole Area Office, Civic Offices, Castlepollard

– Athlone Area Office, Civic Centre, Athlone

And also available for inspection at the County Council website

Submissions or observations with respect to the draft bye-laws may be made in writing on or before 4pm on Friday 24th July 2009 to Catherine
