Held in Lanesboro and Ballyleague for one week each year to increase awareness of the environment, this 12th event will be created and run by the staff of Lough Ree Development Co-op. 12th July – Lough Ine Challenge, Baltimore. 9am. 250 competitors. Swim in the harbour of 1,500 metres followed by a 46km cycle to Skibbereen, Castletownshend, Tragumna, Lough Ine and on to Baltimore, finished off with a 10km run
