The Irish Marine Federation has supported An Garda Siochana's proposal to establish an on line assets register for stolen property. The Garda Siochana plan was originally intended to be confined to plant and machinery but with the spate of stolen marine hardware recently the IMF have asked the Garda to include marine equipment in the proposal.
