Ribex sells out

24th April 2009

The organisers of the UK's RIBEX 2009 have confirmed that two weeks prior to show time, the Cowes based exhibition is at ‘sell out’ save two slots within the tented village.

“Despite the challenges of the recession, we are delighted with the industry’s response to this year’s show. The diversity and degree of new product, plus the number of actual product launches, both world and European, is outstanding. The marina is full to the brim with craft which will all be available for sea trial and includes a number of vessels from luxury cabin craft  to sports craft that have never been seen before – it truly is very exciting”, states Show Organiser, Hugo Montgomery-Swan.

Alongside the marine electronics and engine companies, the 2009 show will also see some of the country’s leading chandlers and boating sports specialists exhibiting within the tented village, but a star attraction will no doubt prove to be the incredible £20k special 5m RIB show prize sponsored by title sponsor Suzuki Marine and RIB builder, ASIS Boats.

A key line-up of recession busting ‘starter RIBs’ will also be a special feature of the 2009 show.
