Commercial count result at Ghent regatta

Commercial won the men’s senior eight at Ghent regatta in Belgium, beating Oxford Brookes into second place. Other Irish winners on the first day of the event included Belfast Rowing Club in the women’s senior pair and Orla Hayes in the lightweight single scull. Commercial’s junior women’s eight finished a creditable third behind two very strong French crews.
