Events on – and off – the water this week

25th May 2009

There's more than one Dragon about these days - Kinsale YC are hosting the Dragon Nationals and celebrating their 80th birthday. Staying south, the Royal Cork YC are doing a Cruise in Company, and there's the SB3 Southerns at Baltimore. Heading north, Squibs have their regional championships at the RNIYC. There's also the Irish Laser Masters at Ballyholme and IDRA Northerns at Carlingford – so lots going on there! Don't miss the MetMasts.ie Round the Turbines at Arklow - it's bound to be an exciting event.

There's rowing, swimming, waterskiing, and canoeing events all around the country. Dublin Docklands present their Maritime Festival providing all sorts of entertainment – but if you get the urge for dry land visit Bloom at the Phoenix Park.
