Diane II comes home first

A couple of departing cruise ships, a warm evening breeze (air temperature of 16 degrees) and a bay of sails. You could be forgiven for thinking that you were in the Med rather than Dublin bay. On a flooding tide this was a special DBSC Thursday evening race with a big turn out. The fleet first sailed south into Scotsmans bay in a SSE wind gusting to 10 knots. Bruce Carswell sailing Diane II won the Ruffian class with Shannagh (S.Gill/P.MacDiarmada) and Derek Mitchell's Ruff Nuff third. Full results below the fold:
