Users of the Lower Bann Navigation should bear in mind that the Waterways Ireland Riverfest will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June from 10am until 7pm between the Town Bridge and Sandleford Bridge. Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when in this area of the navigation and should act on advice given by event marshals when approaching the course (Marine Notice No. 59 of 2009).
