UK Sailmakers Ireland to Stage Pre-Season Race Training Day on Dublin Bay on April 22nd

UK Sailmakers Ireland will host a Pre-Season Race Training Day on Dublin Bay on April 22nd with a video debrief afterwards

UK Sailmakers Ireland, in conjunction with Dublin Bay Sailing Club and the Irish National Sailing School, will be on the water this month with an innovative pre-season race training day on Dublin Bay on Saturday, April 22nd.

A series of short races will be held with on-the-water coaching provided.

Windward Leeward course simulations with between three and five starts (depending on numbers).

The first race start, which is open to all, is at 10.45 am.

Afterwards, a video debrief will be held in the Royal Irish Yacht Club with Kenny Rumball and Barry Hayes.

As with all things in sailing; the secrets will be closely guarded - but for the first time in decades Irish sailors will be at the forefront of sail technology development.

Although much has changed; some constants remain. The same great sail and customer service we have provided in the past will continue, as does our commitment and passion for growing the sport of sailing all over the country.
