Newstalk's' Bobby Kerr popped into the new look Viking Marine Store in Dun Laoghaire Harbour this week and he and Viking's Ian O Meara de-mystified the term 'chandlery' and discussed opportunities for the Irish marine industry, as well as business challenges and emerging trends in the world of marine leisure.
In early 2019 Dun Laoghaire sailor, O'Meara felt it in his gut that marine leisure was on the rise and so the Dun Laoghaire marine shop and chandlery embarked on a strategy for growth. And the harbour firm is eyeing opportunities post-pandemic as WM Nixon wrote here.
