TransEurope Marinas, the pan-European marina grouping that offers half price reciprocal visitor berthing rates to its members' customers, has recently expanded the number of member marinas to 35. Members in the Republic of Ireland include Malahide and Kilrush.
Recent additions to the organisation are Beaucette Marina in Guernsey, Conwy and Deganwy Marinas in North Wales and Whitehaven Marina in Cumbria.
The group offers each other's berth holders up to 5 days berthing at a 50% discount of their normal visiting rates.
TransEurope Marinas Chairman, Andrew Jaggers from Bangor Marina, said: “Recent growth now means we can provide our benefits to an increasing number of boat owners in some of most active cruising areas in Europe.
We are currently able to provide quality visitor berthing to over 16,000 European cruising boat owners at the cheapest possible rates, which is vitally important in these difficult economic times. For a modest subscription our member marinas can offer the benefits of belonging to TransEurope marinas directly to their customers.” The organisation has recently refreshed its website at www.transeuropemarinas.com
