Hamble-based yacht sales business Key Yachting Ltd has announced the sad news that Paul Heys, co-founder and Managing Director, has died.

Heys was holidaying in the Caribbean with his wife Marie-Claude and got into difficulty while swimming on Monday morning, according to a company post on Facebook embedded below.

Heys was a well-known figure in Ireland through his J-boat,1720 and Grand Soleil agencies at Key Yachting. 

Details of the funeral arrangements will be made available once finalised, the website reports.
