#rathlin – An exciting new annual maritime festival is to be centred on Rathlin Sound, the body of water that lies between Rathlin and Ballycastle on Antrim's spectacular Causeway Coast.
The aim of the festival is to celebrate and share a passion for the sea, local maritime culture, heritage and history.
The festival will take place between 24 May and 02 June 2013 and includes Ballycastle sailing regatta and Rathlin sailing regatta as well as local currach racing and model yacht racing.
There are also guided walks, talks, search and rescue displays and Island music event.
The Malin waters area has a number of marina facilities for visiting boats including Ballycastle marina and another marina at Rathlin Island too.
