Ireland’s two lightweight single scullers at the World Cup Regatta in Munich, Sarah Dolan and Michael Maher, both had fourth-place finishes in their heats this morning and are set to compete in repechages later today. The heats were run on a time trial basis, and Dolan was in the first race for this new experiment. It was run in cool, wet, conditions.
Ireland’s adaptive four had a good start to the regatta. They had a slow start to their heat last evening but settled well and passed both France and Ukraine to finish second to Britain and qualify directly for the A Final.
