Lough Derg Yacht Club and the Irish Fireball Association today welcomed additional sponsors for the Fireball World Championship to be hosted at the Dromineer Co Tipperary club this August. The watersports apparel producer GUL has been named as title sponsor of the event which will now be known as the GUL Fireball World Championship 2022. Failte Ireland has come on board as a major sponsor for the event, which with seventy teams travelling to Ireland from around the world will bring a significant tourism boost to the lakelands area and beyond. The new sponsors join Carrickcraft and Tipperary County Council as supporters of the event, one of the highlights of the Irish sailing calendar
