Environment Minister Eamon Ryan has ordered an investigation of Inland Fisheries Ireland following claims of serious irregularities at the State body for inland and inshore fisheries, according to Independent.ie.

It’s reported that senior counsel has been appointed to investigate allegations such as misuse of funds and company property, as well as the claim that a number of IFI company vehicles — one of which was in a collision — have been used on the road while uninsured.
