Head of the Shannon Cancelled
ROWING: The Head of the Shannon, scheduled for Saturday, February 18th, at Carrick on Shannon has been cancelled because of a forecast of high winds. The official forecast suggested that gusts could near 50 kilometres per hour on the day.
