Craig and Jegou Miss Out on Semi-Final Places at World Cup

#Canoeing: Ireland missed out on qualification for the semi-finals at the canoe slalom World Cup in Pau in France. Liam Jegou, in the men's C1, came closest, finishing 26^th in his first run, where 20 qualified. Hannah Craig, in the women’s K1, was 35^th in her first run, and missed a gate in her second. Oisin Farrell did not make it into the top 50 of the men’s K1 in either run.

Men

C1 – First Run (20 Qualify): 26 L Jegou 97.31 seconds. Second Run (10 Qualify): 19 Jegou 98.76

K1 - First Run (30 Qualify): 57 O Farrell 103.72. Second Run (10 qualify): 52 Farrell 256.51

Women

K1 – First Run (20 Qualify): 35 H Craig 106.8. Second Run: 29 Craig 160.04.
