Ireland Lightweight Double Pulls Out of Rowing B Final

Ireland’s lightweight double scull of Siobhan McCrohan and Claire Lambe did not start the B Final at the Rowing World Cup in Munich this morning. The team management said the crew did not compete because of illness. France won the race from Belgium.

The lightweight men’s double of Mark O’Donovan and Niall Kenny finished sixth (12th overall) in their B Final of the men’s lightweight double scull. China won the race ahead of a fast-finishing Portugal.
