Dilleen and Puspure Face Into Repechage

Ireland’s women’s double scull of Lisa Dilleen and Sanita Puspure are set for a repechage later today after a fifth-place finish in their heat at the World Cup regatta in Lucerne. The Irish crew were in touch early on, but the United States and the Czech Republic moved away from the field in the second half of the race and Ireland faded back. The Czech Republic pipped the US at the end.

In her heat of the lightweight single scull, Siobhan McCrohan also finished fifth in a race won by Jo Hammond of Belgium.
