Corcoran Steps Down as Rowing Ireland CEO

Martin Corcoran is to step down as chief executive of Rowing Ireland. The Dubliner took up the position in 2004 will leave in February of next year. He said that having served the organisation in a time of growth and achievement it was now time “to move on to fresh challenges”.

He was thanked by the president of Rowing Ireland, Anthony Dooley, who said he had been held in high standing in the rowing community. Frank Coghlan, the honorary secretary of Rowing Ireland will become acting chief executive.
