Boat Show 2008 - Jeanneau from MGM Boats

29th November -0001
A range of nine motorcruisers, from the Prestige 42 flybridge to the Merry Fisher 705, will be on show from Jeanneau. Ranging in price from E430,000 to E70,000, the fleet is available from MGM Marine in Dun Laoghaire, Belfast and Carrick and HM in Cork.
The line-up also features the French manufacturer’s innovative 42 footer. Many flybridge cruisers leave you with a feeling of claustrophobia because very often you have to look up to see out and, when you do, all you get is a sky view rather than a sea view. Jeanneau has dealt with this problem on its Prestige 42 Flybridge cruiser by offering a bright saloon with the ability to see the water from nearly every sitting position in the cabin. It’s a triumph of interior design by American architect Michael Peters, who provided the hull lines, and Vittorio Garroni who designed the deck and the interior layout. Price continues to be a major consideration and this is another area where the 2008 model scores well. At a cost of E430,000 inclusive, this high performance flybridge cruiser comes in at considerably less than many of its competitors. Also on show are the Prestige 36 and Prestige coupe 34 HT, Prestige 32, flybridge, Prestige 30 coupe HT and the Merry Fisher 925, 805 and 705 and the Leader 805.
