Dublin Port buys new vessels

Dublin Port Company has taken delivery of Rosbeg, a new multipurpose work vessel, and two now pilot boats, as part of a Euro 16 million investment plan., the port company have announced. The Rosbeg, whcih was built in the Nertherlands, is named after a sandbank in Dublin bay. Chief Executive Enda Connellan said: "Over the last 15 years we have invested over 15 million Euro in port infrastructure and now handle some Euro 30 million tonnes of trade annually, a five fold increase in the same period.
