The first boot weekend at Dusseldorf was 'simply fantastic', according to organisers of Germany's leading boat show. boot Director Goetz Ulf Jungmichel was delighted to report yesterday evening the massive exhibition was off to a successful start. On the first two days of the trade fair, a total of 80,120 showgoers crowded the 17 exhibition halls, attracted by the boot Düsseldorf motto "Experience 360° water sports".
Ireland is well represented at the show with yacht brokers MGM boats, who just announced a new office in Malahide, BJ Marine from Greystones Habour, who have opened a new brokerage office in Cardiff, as well as Kinsale artist Bobby Nash exhibiting his charts from his regular Latitude 52 stand.
Visitors were fascinated by luxury & sailing yachts and motor boats of all types, in addition to the opportunities to try diving, kitesurfing, wake- and skimboarding, sailing, fishing and canoeing.
