#Rowing: Sanita Puspure and Monika Dukarska both produced good times as they placed first and second in the women’s single sculls trial at the Ireland Assessments at the National Rowing Centre. Dukarska, returning to the system she left last year, finished 37 seconds behind Puspure in the six kilometre time trial. She was a little disappointed not to get closer. Both women hit impressive marks (86.9 and 84.86) in terms of percentage of projected World gold medal-winning time.
Denise Walsh was the fastest lightweight, taking third, while the fastest junior was Aoife Casey, who took fifth overall.
