The excitement is building as the start of the Volvo Cork Week 2024 regatta approaches.

With the event scheduled to begin on Monday, July 15th, the Royal Cork Yacht Club (RCYC) organisers say the club is buzzing with preparations for what promises to be an epic regatta.

Event entry numbers have been gradually increasing, with participants coming from across Ireland, and internationally. The dedicated event team at the RCYC is working to ensure that everything is in place for the upcoming competition.

For those looking for accommodation, RCYC says the Crosshaven area has plenty of high-quality housing available for rent at reasonable rates. Many of these houses are conveniently located within walking distance of the RCYC. Interested parties can check out the 'Accommodation' section of the event website here and contact the club's accommodation liaison directly for more information.

If you prefer to stay in Carrigaline or Cork City, a regular bus service to and from these locations is available. The bus stop is located right outside the RCYC's gates, providing easy access to additional accommodation options.
