Winga 862 (28ft Swedish-built cruiser) – a solid, well-regarded design known for its seaworthiness and suitability for Irish coastal conditions.
4-berth with double berth, galley and head in the main cabin and a deceptively spacious twin aft-cabin.
“Madcap” is a structurally sound and honest example, surveyed in 2022, with no major structural concerns. The mast and standing rigging are in good condition.
She has a documented history in Cork sailing waters, having raced regularly out of Crosshaven, Kinsale and Glandore.
