Description

A sturdy 29ft modern cruiser with sugar scoop stern, swimming ladder, twin / bilge keels, 7 berths, 3 cabins, separate heads, 1.01m draft.
Slab reefing main sail, spade rudder, 3 reefing points, lazy bag, furling genoa (new furler profile and forestay 2016), cruising chute, jack stays, radar reflector, wind vane, Bruce anchor with rope and chain rode, CQR anchor (spare), spray hood, white decks with light grey non slip, cockpit cushions, inflatable dinghy, outboard bracket on pushpit, flexible gas hoses replaced 2017, Volvo 18hp engine, engine exhaust hose (Lloyds Certified) replaced Jan 2018, crank shaft seals replaced Jan 2018, 4 winches, internal upholstery in excellent condition (new in 2013), gas 2 ring hob with grill & oven, built in cool box. 2 x hanging lockers, chart table. Acrylic glazing in fore hatch and 3 no. port lights replaced in Jan 2018. Automatic fire extinguisher in engine bay fitted in 2016. 2 other fire extinguishers in the cabins. New horse shoe ring in 2016. 6 person canister liferaft (service due May 2018). The boat is taken out of the water from November to March each year. MO

Electrical control panel rebuilt by original manufacturer in 2017. New 90 Ah leisure battery and new 110 Ah engine battery installed in 2017. Shore power connection also with 2 no. 220v double sockets with 4 dedicated usb charging points (fitted 2017). These are great for charging phone & tablets if you have a large group on board while in the marina.

ICOM VHF with DSC, Garmin 128 GPS, Sony radio CD player & saloon speakers.

All halyards, sheets and reefing lines led aft for shorthanded sailing. Tiller steering for great feel and control. Autopilot included. ST50 Tri data (log, depth and trip) with removal able paddle wheel for easy maintenance. The large rudder ensures great control in the harbour and underway.
With a displacement:length ratio of 261 this boat gives great comfort at sea for all on board. It also has a ballast ratio of almost 39% providing great stability even when fully loaded for our 3 weeks cruising holiday each summer with a family of 5.

The twin / bilge keel arrangement with a draft of 1.01m allows you to access a wide variety of harbours that many other boats cannot enter. This is great if you need to avoid the bad weather or like exploring places off the beaten track. It also allows you to anchor in shallow waters so that crew can swim safely in the sea from the boat and even paddle/walk onto the beach!

There was only 21 of these built between 1990-1993.

There is also a road trailer (sold separately) built specifically for this boat by Gillespie Trailers Ltd. in 2016. The trailer comes with tail lights, running lights, flashing beacon, hydraulic brakes, breakaway cable, single axle twin wheels and ring hitch. The boat weights 5 tonnes fully loaded with gear, water, fuel etc. The trailer is rated & plated for 8 tonnes. Note: Trailer not included in the boat price
