Until this summer, feeling the pinch was something you did upwind if you weren't paying attention. But nowadays, even posh yotties have to admit they're tightening their belts, so here at Afloat HQ, we're talking money.
We've put a question to the readership over in the forum over club membership fees. We want to know how much YOU pay for the right to hit the water, so we're kicking off a survey of membership fees around the country, and the level of satisfaction that they inspire in those who pay them.
Are you forced to the breadline by paying for access to the high-water mark or does your club float you a healthy subsidy? No matter where you fit in on the spectrum, we want to hear from you.
The forum topic is here, but if you don't want to go public, drop us an email in strictest confidence to [email protected], or simply comment on this blog post, and we'll make sure your opinion is heard while your identity remains a secret.
We're also running a concurrent poll on how the recession will affect your boating - which should appear to the left hand side of your page.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
