A full-day seminar on offshore renewable energy will take place in Dublin on Thursday, 27 November 2025.
The Irish Maritime Law Association (IMLA) will host the event at The Alex Hotel, Fenian Street.
Organisers say the seminar will focus on “the practical aspects of planning, logistics, insurance and law both onshore and at sea”.
Topics include fixed and floating offshore wind, along with emerging technologies for energy generation and storage at sea.
The programme features expert speakers from the Irish Coast Guard, Port of Cork, Belfast Harbour Commissioners, Statkraft, Niord, and leading law firms.
Sponsorship has been secured from McGill and Partners and NorthStandard P&I Club.
Registration fees include coffee breaks, lunch and a post-event networking reception.
The association expects high interest. “We anticipate this event will sell out,” said IMLA's Hugh Kennedy.
CPD certificates will be provided to attendees.
A detailed agenda will be published in the coming weeks. Download the event poster below as a PDF file.
