Honda Marine's new outboard engines showcased at Cannes Yachting Festival, highlighting advanced technology and performance

Honda Marine Europe has unveiled its latest high-power 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engines at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The updated models boast new technology and exclusive features, packaged in a sleek design.

These engines, designed for leisure, sport, and commercial use, deliver improved performance, durability, and fuel efficiency. Among the offerings are updated Honda inline four engines and V6 models.

Francesco Pichelli, Head of Sales for Honda Marine Europe, stated, "The enhanced 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engines demonstrate our dedicated focus to the marine sector." He added that these models aim to provide "premium performance" for an exceptional boating experience.

Honda’s upgraded engines include the innovative Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) for better acceleration and Variable Valve Timing & Electronic Control (VTEC®) for a smoother power delivery.

The new engines will be on display at the festival until 14 September and will be available from early 2026 through Honda Marine’s dealer network.

In addition to the new outboards, attendees can view Honda’s full engine range, including the BF100, BF80, and BF60. Honda Marine will also showcase its 4XC Design boat range and several boats from various manufacturers.

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven't put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
